IGN readers called “the best game of all nations”, it could be GTA 5 and SA

Three weeks IGN resource conducted a survey among his followers on Twitter to choose “the best game of all nations.” The results caused a heated discussion on the web.

After seven rounds of voting and a total of 26.6 million votes users have chosen the applicant for such a controversial status – it was God of War 2018, which rebooted the series. Also, two GTAs participated at once, and both reached the semi-final stage. But if GTA 5 passed 1/2, then GTA: San Andreas could not, yielding to the future triumphant. Nevertheless, the “five” still lost – already in the final. At 1/32 another game from Rockstar Games, Red dead redemption, flew just the same from GTA: SA. There were no other R * games in the survey.

Of course, such a vote could not be objective. Firstly, you can be indignant at the choice of these 64 games, and not any others. Secondly, the Olympic system (for elimination) is more suitable for short-term “showdown” – it does not allow all parties to collide with each other. For this, the league format would be more suitable.
