Your mission is to restore law and order in a city that is literally swarming with criminals, gangs and corruption. Reviews
Ironically, a small Polish studio made a second game based on an iconic school movie with such attention to detail and some unseen for decades concerning the original product. Characters and environment are simply on another quality level. The setting mostly looks close to photorealistic, and many objects are destructible, and this is what the gaming industry hasn’t seen for years. The characters look nice, too, but a bit painterly stylized and environment style. But who cares when the game is super fun and nostalgic and has a great story yet elements of RPG without forcing it like one recent game from Todd after 25 years in development. LoL. This is pure Gold. Especially if we realize that this is an AA game that is way better literally in all aspects than many AAA titles that have come out in the past years. Heats off. These people know how to make games! A remarkable 15-20 hours of action awaits you. Go and buy it.
Teycon’s previous licensed game, Terminator: Resistance was a welcome surprised for long time fans. Their new Robocop game delivers the same with a higher bar for immersion. Gunplay is chaotic and challenging enough to make you feel like a powerhouse without being completely invulnerable. Actor Peter Weller returns to the role delivering more voice over lines than before in the films where he has relatively few. The production value of this game is a step above Terminator as is the combat/gunplay. I would recommend this game to any fans of the Robocop films.
This game is a must-play for fans of the original RoboCop trilogy, especially drawing from the first film. It perfectly captures the essence of 80s Hollywood with its cheesy dialogue and presents a gore system that adds to the power fantasy, a bold choice in today’s gaming world. The use of the Unreal Engine delivers stunning environments, though character models reveal budget limitations. RoboCop himself looks amazing. The game would benefit from a New Game Plus feature or the ability to replay levels for achievement hunting, as some achievements are easy to miss. Voiced by Peter Weller and featuring iconic one-liners and music, this game feels like stepping into the original movie, fulfilling the dreams of any childhood fan.
