The player will plunge into a fantasy world based on Slavic mythology. The literary universe, authored by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, is taken as a basis. But, naturally, the developers added a lot of new things.

The main active character is Geralt of Rivia, presented to players as a hunter of mythical monsters, who tries to protect his adopted daughter Ciri. In short, Ciri is being hunted by the powerful otherworldly force Wild Hunt, the mystery of which is revealed gradually as the character progresses.
