About this game
Unfinished Business is a standalone expansion for the shooter RoboCop: Rogue City with about 8 to 10 hours of playtime. It is a separate story set after the events of the original game RoboCop: Rogue City and it does not require the base version. You once again take on the role of the legendary cyber police officer RoboCop who protects the streets of Old Detroit from a new threat.
According to the story the enemies seize the newest OmniTower skyscraper and turn it into their fortified citadel of chaos. RoboCop must fight his way through the floors of this giant building battling elite mercenaries and restoring order by any means necessary. The Unfinished Business campaign feels more dynamic and focused on combat tasks compared to the original. The expansion broadens the RoboCop universe and introduces new characters and interesting lore details.
- New campaign. Unfinished Business is a self-contained story expansion set after the events of the original game. It offers a complete narrative of roughly 8 to 10 hours and does not require RoboCop: Rogue City.
- OmniTower under siege. At the center is the massive OmniTower skyscraper originally built by OCP for Detroit’s residents. It has been seized by a group of elite mercenaries and turned into an impregnable stronghold. RoboCop must storm the tower floor by floor clearing out enemies and uncovering their plan.
- New enemies. The expansion pits you against a range of fresh threats. Each level of OmniTower features high tech dangers such as combat drones, autonomous turrets, heavily armed squads with miniguns, special forces with jetpacks, and deadly katana wielding cyborgs that look more like machines than people.
- Powerful arsenal. RoboCop keeps his signature Auto 9 pistol with infinite ammunition. New experimental weapons appear as well such as the futuristic Cryo Cannon that can instantly encase enemies in ice.
- Mission variety. In addition to the main tower assault the campaign includes special chapters that shift perspective. In certain flashbacks you control other characters such as a young officer Alex Murphy before he became RoboCop. These episodes show events from a new angle and reveal extra story details and the main character is voiced by Peter Weller which fans will appreciate.

Reviews
An enjoyable expansion of the shockingly sweet Rogue City that puts Robocop against Not-Plisskin within not-Dredd’s megabuilding from the awesome 2012 movie. Pure carnage ensues. Like any proper expansion, what you get is a brand new setting, some new guns, new dangerous enemy types, some new combat moves, and some new chipsets that make your trusty gun be capable of infinite ammo, full auto, and penetrative damage. I haven’t grinned this hard to videogame gore in a while.
This is just a fun time that has a more than decent storyline to put narrative context to the adventure, with the novelty of some cool setpieces spicing things up, including one that is so cool it makes the whole experience worth it so I won’t spoil it.
If you enjoyed the last game, definitely get it. It has the same quirks, the same flaws and the same joyful nostalgic energy.
If you hated the game, you won’t enjoy this one either. Also I hope you don’t exist, because disliking Robocop is incorrect.
Unfinished Business is exactly what a DLC should be. It’s focused, badass, and worth the admission price. Clocking in at around 9 hours of content, this expansion doesn’t just tack on filler; it expands on the best parts of Rogue City with more grit, more story, and more RoboCop. You’re back in the titanium boots of Alex Murphy, and it feels just as satisfying as ever. The writing is sharp, the atmosphere remains soaked in that gritty 80s Detroit aesthetic, and the voice acting continues to deliver the perfect mix of nostalgia and cybernetic. The devs put real love into this. It’s not a cash grab; it’s a solid continuation that respects the fan base. If you enjoyed Rogue City, this DLC is a no-brainer.
This game was great! It was a solid 10-hour romp through OmniTower. The original game took me ~17 hours to more or less complete. In the end, I was left wanting more Robert Cop, but that’s not a bad thing. The game told its story, made me feel things (even if it was hella cheesy in the best 80s sorta way), and expanded Robert’s lore.
I’m happy that I got to play a game that knew what it wanted to be, rather than a 50-something hour long mess. I just wish people weren’t so mean to Robert. 🙁
But hey, add New Game+, huh? I’m itching for a second playthrough, already.
Thanks for letting Robert say his iconic line: “Dead or alive, you’re going to pee!”
