Description: Red Dead Redemption 2 — the brainchild of the famous company Rockstar Games, which gave the world such a masterpiece of the gaming industry as GTA. This time, the developers have completely immersed themselves in the spirit of the western, depicting the fictional states of America in the 19th-20th centuries in the game Red Dead Redemption 2.
The game events of RDR 2 will tell about the especially dangerous gang of Dutch Van der Linde, operating in those years. The player controls one of the main characters, Arthur Morgan, and after the story and before the epilogue, John Marston.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition supports AMD’s FSR 2.2 and HDR10+ and is available for download.
Events began in 1899, when the Dutch Van der Linde Gang decided once again to replenish their pockets with stolen money. But something went wrong, and the ferry robbery was brought to naught. In a desperate attempt to escape from federal agents and mercenaries, the criminals are forced to hide deep in the wilderness.
All stolen money remained in Blackwater. In view of the fact that the time of lawlessness was gradually coming to an end, the gang decided to earn money, which would be enough to retire.
Dutch van der Linde, a criminal, robs a train owned by magnate Cornwall Levitt. He decides to take revenge – he hires a gang of Pinkerton thugs led by Andrew Milton. After a shootout, the criminal group flees to Lemoyne State, where they meet two warring families.
The head of the gang tries to pit opponents against each other, but his attempts were unsuccessful – one of the members of the gang, Sean Maguire, dies. The gang retaliate for the attacks, and soon flee to Saint-Denis, where they want to commit a bank robbery and then leave for Australia.
The game does not end on the passage of the main storyline. As in the case of GTA, in Red Dead Redemption 2 there is a choice – to go through the main quests or run around the open world. The player can absolutely freely travel around the big world, complete side quests, arrange shootouts in the spirit of the good old cowboy films, but in a new way.
But also the player can do the usual things, for example:
- Ride a horse;
- Hunt wild animals;
- Loot secret items;
- Go fishing;
- Search for collectible items.
The game has a special honor system. The player’s reputation in the game world and the plot depend on what actions the player performs (criminal or legal). In addition to the single passage, there is also a multiplayer game called Red Dead Online.
Since its release, RDR 2 has broken many records, as is the case with Rockstar. In total, in the first weeks of sales, players purchased more than 17 million copies, which brought the company over $700 million.
The game has the highest ratings from the press. Reviewers and critics are very positive about the game. Bottom line – in 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 received a number of prestigious awards at the Golden Joystick Awards for:
- “Critic’s Choice”;
- “Best Narrative”;
- “Best Soundtrack”
In 2018 RDR 2 is the winner of the 22nd annual prestigious D.I.C.E Awards in the nomination “Best Technical Achievement”. In 2019, the game won the AusGamers Award, won the second place in the Game of the Year – Reader’s Poll, won the Game of the Year, Multiplatform Game.

Reviews
Stories come in all shapes and sizes, but some stay with you for a lifetime. Red Dead Redemption 2 is one such story. With an abundance of activities, a captivating narrative, and a fun gaming experience, this game has it all. The characters are so compelling that you’ll feel a real connection with the gang and want to help them even when things get rough. Of course, you’re free to hunt, rob, kill, and engage in other criminal activities, but you always have the sense that someone is waiting for you. The conclusion is likely to bring tears to your eyes for various reasons. The environment is incredibly realistic and adds to the overall immersive experience. This is truly the best game of all time.
This game has left a lasting impression on me like no other.
The storyline is a perfect blend of multiple genres – comedy, drama, action, thriller, and horror. The game world is incredibly realistic, with stunning graphics and mechanics that are further enhanced by the emotional music score. By the end of the game, I had formed such a strong attachment to the main character that the thought of saying goodbye was heart-wrenching. It felt like losing a dear friend and I remained saddened for days after completing the game.
I have been playing video games since 1999 and this is, without a doubt, the best game I have ever played.
It is truly a work of art and a masterpiece in every sense of the word.
After GTA 5 I wasnt that hopefull for any games from Rockstar (at least storywise) but this game taught me otherwise.
Pros:
*Great Story
*Great Characters (really cared for some of them/or hated some of them)
*Great GFX +openworld (the world really seems alive with the wild life etc. everything looks so idyilic)
*Lots of side content if you want to (hunts etc. which i personally skipped)
*Great Atmosphere
Cons:(More like nitpicks)
*NPCs can be sometimes very dumb and can get ran over by your horse
*Didnt like the fact that if you are in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night and loot an enemies dead body there can still crawl witnesses out of nowhere
Great game. Hopefully the SP of GTA 6 will be more like this than GTA 5.
This game is hands down the greatest game I’ve ever played. The attention to detail in terms of gameplay, shooting mechanics, graphics, emotions, and animal diversity truly blew me away.
What sets this game apart is the way the character interacts with objects. For example, when you use a hammer, you actually see the nails being hammered into the boards, and the more you hit, the deeper they get driven in. These small details are what make this game truly remarkable.
The plot is masterfully crafted, allowing us to witness the gradual change in relationships between characters, much like in real life. We don’t immediately realize when someone betrays us, and that’s exactly how it is in the game. We have ample time to understand the motivations and personalities of each character in Red Dead Redemption 2. As we play, we experience a range of emotions with Arthur Morgan, from admiration to misunderstanding, doubt, disappointment, and even loathing. I have never felt such a strong connection to a game character before. The ending was particularly impactful and thought-provoking, making me reflect on my own life and how I want to live it.
In conclusion, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an emotional and powerful game that I would highly recommend to anyone. I don’t think I’ll ever come across a better game, unless Rockstar releases a sequel, which I fear may never happen. But for now, I can only stand in awe of this masterpiece.
