Description: Black Mesa is a re-envisioning of Valve Software’s classic science fiction first person shooter, Half-Life. Powered by Source Engine, You will re-visit the inaugural role of Gordon Freeman and his memorable journey through the Black Mesa Research Facility. Expect detailed environments to explore, a huge cast of characters and experimental weaponry. All-new music, voice acting, choreography and added dialogue give way to a more expansive and immersive experience than ever before.
Features:
- Dozens of hours of single player play, including Zen and all final chapters.
- Brand new soundtrack and over 2,000 animated scenes and 6,000 lines of dialogue.
- Developed levels to the smallest detail.
- Huge arsenal of weapons and more.
This time, the developers did not consider it necessary to add a new weapon, but they finalized the plot simply to madness. The whole story now goes synchronously and with only minor changes. We’re looking at the game in a different way thanks to the improved graphics on maps and the detailing of models and textures. The water, surrounding player, and the landscape are provided in a better quality than before. Adding dynamic shadows, improving reflection and static lighting to the mod, the developers excellently provided the aesthetic perception of the game.

History
“Zen” is present in the original game and its add-ons. This is a world mostly considered as transit point because when making teleportation, you must definitely go through this world and only after that you can get where you was going initially. Floating islands and many strange creatures surround you in Xen. Before the Half-Life history happened, scientists from the research complex Black Mesa were actively studying Xen using teleports.
They find out that some of the creatures of this world aren’t classified either as plants or animals, due to the lack of similarity in the construction of creatures. Player feels the gravity a little weaker than on earth.
This world has no silence because you will constantly hear different sounds wandering around Xen and even a slight breeze, which proves the presence of atmosphere in this world. However, it does not harm health, which is allowed you to be in it without protective equipment. After all the enticing stories, you probably want to walk around the universe of the game. You can download Black Mesa via torrent on our site and plunge into the world of creatures and uncharted planets.

Reviews
I’ve been following the development of this game for over 10 years and playing it for 7 since it was free to play.. Now that I have played the Beta for the XEN chapters I feel I can finally review it. This remake of Half-Life is nothing short of incredible. Nearly perfect in every way, this is as good of a first person shooter experience a person could hope to have. At this point I actually hold this game in equally high regard as I do Half-Life 2, especially since it was made with a MUCH smaller studio. (and one that actually cares about their fans). This is definitely in my top FPS experiences alongside titles like HL-2, Bioshock, DOOM, Early Halo and COD.. This holds its own with the best and may be better than any one of them.
An absolutely incredible representation of the Black Mesa incident with an atmosphere and world that better reveal the scale of the events of Half-Life than the original game. Completely replayable despite being almost one-to-one in comparison. The attention to detail competes with triple A games you would see on the market today. A *must* for anyone who is a fan of Half-Life.
The original Half-Life truly inspired my love for video games and in my eyes it will always be a perfect 10, but somehow Crowbar Collective has actually improved on the original world. It’s so much more fleshed out and alive in ways the original was not. HL1 will always have a place in my heart, but I couldn’t have asked for a better remake than Black Mesa. If you’re a fan of the original or never played it, but always wanted to, or you’re simply looking for a good action game, I can’t recommend this highly enough. The people who made this game have worked long and hard for a lot of years and the quality of the product more than attests to it. Drop them a 20 and fire up a great shooter.
