Here we go once more. Fighting over scraps of Dragon Age 4 information like corrupted templars determined to snag the final drop of purple lyrium. The final titbits we bought had been fairly good, to be honest. Those pretty scenes from the EA Play event gave lots to take a position on for some time. But there’s a brand new tiny morsel of information now, this time coming from BioWare govt producer, Mark Darrah, who took to Twitter to elucidate that they’re working from residence they usually’re “making progress”.
I notice that almost all of you might be right here for Dragon Age information and there hasn’t been loads of that recently…
Let me simply run down some issues I an say:
1. We are engaged on the subsequent Dragon Age
2. Yes we’re working from residence
3. Working from house is tougher
4. We are making progress— Mark Darrah (@BioMarkDarrah) July 22, 2020
I really feel like we’re all sitting in entrance of a two-way mirror, hovering arms over the glass, craving a peek at what’s behind. BioWare are sat on the opposite aspect, watching. “Send the tweet,” they are saying, as we scramble over to a desk to aim to hyperlink one more clue in a sprawling mass of purple thread.
But all joking apart, working from residence will be actually laborious. While it’s good to listen to the game’s improvement is trucking on, I hope the devs are conserving protected and sane. Dragon Age followers can keep sated on mere screenshots and teaser trailers for years, we will completely wait just a little longer for extra detailed data.
I’ll admit I did take a look at the EA Play teasers for an extended whereas making an attempt to provide you with theories about what they confirmed. So did Alice Bee, and I reckon she might be onto something with her speculation:
“All I’m saying is that if we look at the natural thematic progression of the games in the series – a standard external army of baddies in DA:O, a more complex baddie created by ourselves over time in DA2, and a combination of both in DA:I – I’m going to say that in DA4 the baddie will be literally everything.”
Alright, nicely, that’s your month-to-month reminder that Dragon Four is certainly being made. Time to start out one other Inquisition playthrough, I suppose.
