Xbox head of promoting, Aaron Greenberg, confirms the crossplay dialog is occurring.
I feel by now, we’re all up to the mark on Sony’s place on crossplay with Xbox. It’s an enormous ol’ nope.
They’ve said no to Rocket League, they’ve said no to Minecraft, and extra lately, they’ve mentioned no to Ark: Survival Evolved.
Is anybody doing something about it? Well sure, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg has stepped as much as the plate and is the hero all of us want proper now.
Talking to Gamereactor, Greenberg mentioned, “We’re speaking to Sony [about crossplay], we do companion with them on Minecraft and naturally we want to allow them to be a part of that; one neighborhood, to unite players.
“So we’re talking to them and we’re hopeful that they’ll be supportive of it.”
How that dialog pans out is a unique story. Sony should know by now that the function is one thing their neighborhood desires, however they’re nonetheless holding out. I don’t need to be a dismal Gus, however I don’t suppose Greenberg goes to have a lot success.
But we’ll have to attend and see.
