GTA 6: Zelnick Says “GTA 6 is Worth the Wait

Visiting the TikToker who became famous thanks to videos where he portrays an NPC in the real world, was Strauss Zelnick. The head of the company that owns the rights to Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead, Mafia, and many other titles, talked about his career (did you know he was president and CEO of 20th Century Fox when they produced films like “Home Alone,” “Home Alone 2,” and more?) and shared wise advice. Of course, there was also a mention of GTA 6.

• He believes the peak of the video game industry is still ahead, but VR/AR directions will not become leading.
• He is proud that subsequent projects in the franchises under his supervision are better than previous ones.
• Like everyone in Take-Two, he did not expect the colossal success of GTA Online. The microtransaction system was initially not planned, but it had to be implemented along the way.
• He names Fortnite and Roblox as competitors — games that are incredibly popular nowadays.
• He described GTA 6 as “extraordinary,” “exciting,” and “worth the wait.”
• He has seen the memes “We got _____ (insert any event name) before GTA 6” and trolling on Twitter, which he says has decreased recently.
