Xbox Game Pass offers new indies Sable, SkateBird, and more in September

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get a fresh batch of diverse Xbox and PC games through the end of September, including promising indie games SkateBird (in which you play as a skateboarding bird), Sable (the stylish 3D adventure featuring music from Japanese Breakfast), and Flynn: Son of Crimson (a colorful 2D platformer-adventure).

Flynn: Son of Crimson, I Am Fish, SkateBird, Superliminal, and Aragami 2 all come to Xbox Game Pass on Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and cloud-supported devices by Sept. 17, while Sable comes to all three on Sept. 23. Here’s everything Xbox Game Pass subscribers can expect through Oct. 1:

  • Flynn: Son of Crimson (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Sept. 15
  • I Am Fish (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Sept. 16
  • SkateBird (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Sept. 16
  • Superliminal (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Sept. 16
  • Aragami 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Sept. 17
  • Lost Words: Beyond the Page (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Sept. 23
  • Sable (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Sept. 23
  • Subnautica: Below Zero (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Sept. 23
  • Tainted Grail: Conquest (PC) – Sept. 23
  • Lemnis Gate (Console and PC) – Sept. 28
  • Astria Ascending (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Sept. 30
  • Unsighted (Console and PC) – Sept. 30
  • Phoenix Point (Console) – Oct. 1

Those titles join recently added Xbox Game Pass games Final Fantasy 13, Nuclear Throne, The Artful Escape, and Surgeon Simulator 2.

All good things must come to an end, so here’s what’s leaving Xbox Game Pass in September.

  • Ikenfell (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Night in the Woods (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Kathy Rain (PC)
