The iPad mini 7 features a trimmed-down A17 Pro processor
It is the same A17 Pro chip found in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, but with weaker graphics.
The CPU core count remains the same, but there are five graphics cores, whereas the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max have six. Theoretically, the new iPad mini 7 will be weaker than last year’s flagship smartphones in gaming.
In practice, this difference is unlikely to be noticeable. However, it’s worth waiting for the first tests to see the final results.
The iPad mini 7 starts at $499 (~48,200 ₽) for the 128GB version.
