This Assassin’s Creed Odyssey brings equine chaos to Greece’s towns and cities

Assassin's Creed Odyssey RPG

If you’re plodding through Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and fancy tweaking your experience to make for a more personal approach, you may be interested to learn of a mod allowing you to adjust the values of a variety of different in-game factors. From removing your horse’s speed limit to adjusting XP rates, the mod pack offers multiple ways to speed up (both figuratively and literally) your experience.

The biggest takeaway seems to be the custom XP multiplier, which simply allows you to determine how much XP you get with each encounter. Not only does this eliminate some of the game’s grindier elements, but it should also help remove the temptation to buy into any XP boosts.

If you fancy speeding up the combat process, you might also enjoy the enemy health and damage multipliers. As you might expect, that allows you to scale the health and damage that your opponents deal. If you fancy an easy ride, you can turn them down, whereas if you’re feeling masochistic, you can turn each enemy into an HP sponge with the ability to knock you down in one hit.

The final major adjustment is the ability to disable the horse speed restriction that automatically sets in as you approach towns and cities, allowing you to send terrified pedestrians scrambling for cover as you thunder through the streets on your mighty steed.

The mod is compatitible with the game’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s 1.07 version, and you can check it out on NexusMods if you’re interested. It might not be great for first time players, but it sounds ideal if you fancy adjusting your experience for a second playthrough.
