The Sims 4 is getting a free new update to the base game, as well as new paid DLC, Electronic Arts and Maxis Studios announced Tuesday via news release. The update, which unrolled Tuesday, introduces missions called “Scenarios” that allow fans to play through “goal-based stories,” with their Sims, according to the release. The new paid — and all its lush greenery — will be released Nov. 9.

Scenarios are situations where players “can choose to participate and work toward an outcome for their Sims,” according to the developer. Depending on how you work through a scenario, there will be different outcomes, so it’s up to you to figure out how you want to resolve the story.

The developer will continue to release new Scenarios over time, with different themes and styles inspiring each one. Tuesday’s update introduced two new scenarios: “Making Money,” which tasks you with making a million Simoleons, and “Finding Love After a Breakup,” which will have you playing matchmaker for your Sims. These two stories will run Tuesday through Nov. 6.

In the Blooming Rooms Kit DLC, you won’t need a green thumb to grow, just a home you want to fill with beautiful baby plants. An image from the developers shows all sorts of foliage like ferns, spider plants, and cascading vines you can frame your windows with. The kit will launch on Nov. 9 to Mac OS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
