One of the largest complaints from those that observe the Overwatch professional scene is that the sport’s Spectator Mode is missing.
The most talked about challenge has to do with readability of the match. Right now, it’s actually laborious to observe which staff is assigned to blue and which is assigned to pink. Colours will change always in a match anytime you turn views.
In one of many many threads about this downside on the game’s forums, sport director Jeff Kaplan chimed in to verify that work is being accomplished to enhance the sport’s Spectator Mode, notably in relation to staff colors.
“We’re working on a better team colouring system right now,” mentioned Kaplan.
“We’ve put significant efforts against this issue. We agree, it’s a top issue and there are a lot of areas for improvement. Our results and progress has been really good and I have faith the team will deliver something that raises the quality of the experience significantly.”
Unfortunately, Kaplan didn’t give any hints as to once we’ll be seeing this within the sport. With the Overwatch League beginning quickly, it’d make sense for these enhancements to hit the reside sport sooner slightly than later.
