The envelopes of GTA cards in the “five” are massively removed. What does remakes and GTA 6 have to do with it?

Tez2 drew attention GTA communities that many mods that add maps from previous parts to GTA 5, began to withdraw from a major resource for the distribution of modifications. So, recently since gta5-mods.com at least nine envelopes were seized.

If you go to the pages of these modifications, you will find the inscription “Sorry, this file is no longer available” …

We decided to check the availability of mods from our selection of a month ago, and it turned out that Vice city overhaul and Vice cry: remastered suffered the same fate, except that on the page of the second it is indicated that the mod was not approved, although it was previously available without problems. We suspect that this is not the entire list of modifications that have been removed or are about to be removed.

It is obvious that the mass destruction of envelopes was started by representatives of Take-Two, who had already expressed dissatisfaction with the transfer of maps from old GTA to new ones during high-profile case on closing OpenIV… Then the toolkit managed to escape, and the developer assured that he would not sue the authors of projects created for single modes. However, in the issue of card envelopes, the copyright holder, apparently, has a selfish interest. During this cleanup, mods that add cards that were never in the series were not affected. For example, Windy city did not go anywhere. All of this leads to the idea that perhaps R * really has plans to create remake of “Trilogy”… Two months ago “rock stars” already announcedthat something is being prepared for the anniversary of the troika.

Now questions arise regarding strange situation with re3 and even a two-week bombing of rumors about Gta 6… First, Tom Henderson, a well-known insider in the gaming industry, began to receive too much informationthen the authoritative Jason Schreier turns out to be heard the same… And all this hype happens just at the time of the withdrawal of large mods. It is very likely that the leakage of all information is planned in the company itself. Some of the insiders may turn out to be true, while others may be fiction or concepts from an early stage of development. AND new map could well have been a long-standing prototype (there are big doubts that it will look like this in the release version). In general, the creators of Grand Theft Auto (and their patrons) should always be on the alert …
