Announced 3 years ago, during E3 2018, The Elder Scrolls VI is a game that crystallizes the wildest expectations. It must be said that the last canon episode dates back to 2011 and since then, fans have not had much to eat. Ok, some will quote The Elder Scrolls Online; the others prefer to say nothing. Nevertheless, since the official reveal and this teaser that set the Bethesda conference on fire in June 2018, development does not seem to be really moving forward. We have a few interventions from Todd Howard here and there to reassure us, but nothing very concrete. And that’s actually pretty normal, especially since his last words relayed by The Telegraph, newspaper with which the American game designer spoke. He admits in fact that The Elder Scrolls VI is still in its phase of conception, even of design, specifying that the new technologies which are used for Starfield will be of great help for the game. In reality, we learn above all that all of them the teams are focused on the production of Starfield, specifying that some people work in parallel on the two.
The vast majority of Bethesda Game Studios are occupied on Starfield. But it’s good to think that The Elder Scrolls VI is still in its design phase … But we’re just checking out the tech.
