We are not talking about the film directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (with Jessica Chastain and Jake Gyllenhaal) on behalf of Netflix, but about the free-to-play that the French publisher intends to deploy in 2021-2022 on consoles, PC and cloud gaming services. From what we are told, the game will be developed by Red Storm Entertainment (whose expertise in Tam Clancy productions is recognized, the studio having obviously participated in the development of The Division and The Division 2) , and it will be possible to squat it independently of the other two episodes. Those already tempted by the experience can report at this address.
A mobile game is also on the program. No details have filtered out for the moment, but we dare to believe that Ubisoft will strive to offer a technically solid title. And then, we are told that a novel will see the light of day under the aegis ofAconyte and that the story will take place after the events of The Division 2. Moreover, speaking of the latter, Ubisoft emphasizes that “new content will also be added via an update available at the end of 2021. […] It will introduce a whole new game mode as well as new methods for players to level up their agents, with special attention to the variety and viability of their builds.“
A priori, no The Division 3 for the moment, even if the E3 2021 can reserve some surprises.
