It had been a while since we last heard of The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes, the third installment in the horror series from Supermassive Games. It is therefore with a certain curiosity that we took a look at the trailer released today by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Lasting 1 minute 30, it does not allow you to learn much; he just remembers that the adventure will take place under the Arabian desert, in the ruins of a Sumerian temple populated by bloodthirsty creatures. Yes, the pitch is clearly reminiscent of that of The Descent (2005), a horror film where six female cavers must survive in a cave filled with monsters.
There is still one information to remember from today’s trailer: on May 27, a real gameplay video will be unveiled at 6 p.m. This is much more interesting, especially since the release date should undoubtedly be announced. While waiting to discover all this, we recall that The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is scheduled for Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PC, PS4 and PS5.
