Take-Two to publish Patrice Desilets’s Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey

Take-Two has introduced it’s going to publish Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, developed by unique Assassin’s Creed creator, Patrice Desilets.

A brand new Publishing label has been shaped by Take-Two, which can publish titles from “top independent developers.”

Private Division has been within the works for over two years on the firm, and its purpose is to assist the “growing number of independent studios creating high quality games based on new IP.”

The new division will publish a number of upcoming titles equivalent to Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey from Panache Digital Games, the studio led by Patrice Desilets.

Announced in 2015, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey was originally developed as an third-person episodic adventure with useful resource administration and survival components. In every episode, the participant relives a few of the “greatest moments of mankind”. Each episode was to be linked with the next offering continuity.

Due to continued growth of Humankind, it grew too giant to be episodic, Desilets stated earlier this yr.

Along with Humankind, Take-Two’s Private Division may even publish an unannounced RPG at present codenamed Project Wight from The Outsiders, a studio based by ex-DICE builders David Goldfarb and Ben Cousins.

An unannounced RPG from Obsidian Entertainment led by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, co-creators of Fallout, can also be within the works. The studio took to Twitter last month to tease the mission, with out offering any particulars, in fact.

There is one other unannounced title within the works supported by the publishing arm from V1 Interactive. It’s a sci-fi first-person shooter from Halo co-creator and Halo: Reach creative director Marcus Lehto, who based the studio.

Additionally, Private Division is the writer for Kerbal Space Program, which Take-Two acquired in May of this year.
