Swery’s The Good Life will get a demo

The Good Life is the brand new sport from Deadly Premonition and D4 creator Swery65. It’s currently seeking funds on Kickstarter, and there’s now a playable demo for everyone to enjoy. Unfortunately, with solely eight days left to go on the marketing campaign, it appears to be like like they may not make their funding purpose – so the demo is perhaps the one a part of the sport anybody will get to play.

A public demo for The Good Life was extremely requested in a Twitter ballot, and Swery notes in a campaign update, “we did our best to prepare this ASAP in order to grant everyone’s wishes. There are a bunch of bugs present in the build, but we hope you’ll enjoy this chance to visit the world of The Good Life much earlier than scheduled!!”.

While at first the demo was solely playable with a gamepad, it has since been up to date with keyboard controls as properly. Swery posted the brand new management scheme on Twitter, though sadly it doesn’t appear to incorporate mouse help as of but.

At time of writing, The Good Life has earned ¥36,836,000 of a ¥68,000,000 funding purpose (roughly $337,000 of $622,000). That’s barely half of what they want, with simply over per week left to go. A earlier crowdfunding marketing campaign on Fig ended in a similar way, though there the purpose was twice as excessive and ended up 45% funded. The Kickstarter nonetheless has an opportunity, but when they don’t succeed then the way forward for The Good Life is unsure – and this demo is perhaps all we ever get to play.
