Square Enix will have its own E3 showcase on Sunday, June 13, during the kickoff weekend for E3 2021, the company announced Thursday.

Known as Square Enix Presents, the show will go live at 3:15 p.m. EDT/12:15 p.m. PDT on June 13. In its announcement, Square Enix called out a few items that will appear at the showcase, most notably a “world premiere” coming from Eidos-Montreal. The showcase will last around 40 minutes, and fans can watch on YouTube or Twitch.

Eidos-Montreal is the studio behind Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. After Mankind Divided’s launch in 2016, Kotaku and Eurogamer reported that Eidos-Montreal was working on a new Marvel project rather than continuing with the Deus Ex franchise. The studio’s next game is reportedly based on Guardians of the Galaxy.

Square Enix will reveal more than just Eidos-Montreal’s latest title at its E3 2021 presentation. The showcase will feature updates on Babylon’s Fall from PlatinumGames, Life is Strange: True Colors from Deck Nine, and Marvel’s Avengers from Crystal Dynamics. The latter will consist of details on the upcoming Black Panther – War for Wakanda expansion, which will finally add Black Panther to the roster.

Thursday’s announcement didn’t mention the upcoming Final Fantasy 16 at all, which is a little odd, considering fans haven’t seen much of the game since October . While the game could still appear during the showcase, it’s possible that Square Enix may not have anything to show. With Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade coming only days ahead of the show, it seems unlikely that we’ll get an update on the next entry in Cloud Strife’s adventure.

Fans will learn more about what Square Enix does — and doesn’t — have to show when E3 2021 starts next week.
