The Sonic the Hedgehog film has been delayed into early 2020 to ensure that filmmakers to make the blue character “just right.”
According the game’s director the Sonic the Hedgehog movie will now launch on February 14 2020. It was initially slated for a November 2019 launch.
Director Jeff Fowler mentioned on Twitter the additional time will to make Sonic look “just right.”

The first trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog wasn’t acquired nicely, because of the Sega mascot’s look. Fans took to social media for a proper roasting.
Director Jeff Fowler took to Twitter to guarantee followers everybody at Paramount and Sega had been “fully committed to making this character the best he can be,” noiting some adjustments had been going to be made to the CGI character.
Sounds like he’s retaining his promise.
