Scorn: game postponed to 2022, creators admit development errors

All the people who are hyped around Scorn will have to take their troubles patiently. The Ebb Software studio has indeed announced a delay in their horrific FPS, with a release date which now switches to 2022. This is not the first time that the title has been postponed, knowing that its announcement and it was first used in September 2017. On Scorn’s Kickstarter page, the developers leave a message to reassure the players, but honestly explain having encountered development problems. We learn, for example, that everything that was done until half of 2018 has been completely redone, under the pretext that the result was not good enough for the internal teams. Ebb Software even takes the liberty of quoting CD Projekt Red and Cyberpunk 2077 by explaining that these studios use external companies to create CGI videos to save production time. The team is new and inexperienced admits one of the game’s creators, who also explains that the excess hype is not good for the game as well. It is indeed installed with a crazy pressure on the shoulders of developers, but this desire is also a positive sign that the public will be present when the game is released. In short, a complicated situation for Ebb Software which promises to do the maximum so that the game, once finished, is as good as possible.
