Samsung announced the presentation of the improved Galaxy Z Fold6
In a short video invitation, an envelope is shown, from which the new Fold is taken out. It’s clear that this hints at the main feature of the improved Galaxy Z Fold6 — the reduced thickness.
Samsung is striving to close the gap in thickness with Chinese manufacturers, who are already releasing much thinner foldables. According to the latest rumors, the thickness of the body in the folded state will be 10.6 mm (compared to the standard Fold6’s 12.1 mm).
The presentation will take place on October 21. The model might be named Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition, and sales are expected only in South Korea and China.
