Rockstar will end support for Windows 7 and 8.1
As you know, Microsoft curtailed work on security and technical updates their operating systems Windows 7 and 8.1. Rockstar Games stated that it will also stop supporting both time-tested operating systems starting January 30, 2024.

This means that after three months, if any problems arise with R* titles running on Windows 7 or 8, technical support will refer to the need to switch to Windows 10 or 11. This may also affect the overall performance of games that will be receive updates from developers, starting with Bully and ending with GTA 5 With GTA Online.
