R * Shuts Down GTA Online, Max Payne 3 and LA Noire Servers for PS3 and Xbox 360

So they announced what had been expected for a long time. Servers GTA Online will be closed for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners at the end of the year. The same fate will befall the networking components Max Payne 3 and LA Noire.

The shutdown of the servers will take place in two stages. The following will happen on September 16:

• stop selling Shark cards for the “old” “Online” (your donation expenses will not be reimbursed);
• LA Noire’s online components, including stats in the Rockstar Games Social Club, will no longer be available (all trophies on PS3 and achievements on the Xbox 360 can be knocked out, because there are no online prizes in the game);
• the network components of Max Payne 3, including statistics in the Rockstar Games Social Club, will become unavailable (but here there are network achievements …).

The developers noted that the changes will not affect the story modes of the three games in any way (Red Dead Redemption and its multiplayer have not been touched yet). Therefore, we advise you to play enough online, knock out all the missing network trophies and save statistics from the SotsKlub.

But on December 16, after eight years of work, GTA Online for PS3 and Xbox 360 will be disabled, including statistics in the RGSC (they will be erased). Anticipating the questions, “Rockstar” said that the functions transferring progress for consoles of the previous generation will not be – this function could only be used in 2017.
