Program for the “Mayak‑2025” Film Festival Announced

The roster for the third Mayak festival of contemporary Russian cinema has been revealed.

The narrative feature competition includes:

  • “Yura Was Here” (directed by Sergey Malkin)

  • “Pictures of Friendly Bonds” (directed by Sonya Rayzman)

  • “My Son” (directed by Vyacheslav Klevtsov)

  • “Discarded” (directed by Konstantin Bronzit)

  • “Over Eternal Rest” (directed by Svetlana Proskurina)

  • “The Fiery Boy” (directed by Nadya Mikhalkova)

  • “Presence” (directed by Apollinariya Degtyareva)

  • “Transparent Lands” (directed by Dmitry Davydov)

  • “Daytime Fireworks” (directed by Nina Volova)

  • “A Good Life” (directed by Tatyana Rakhmanova)

The festival will run from October 4 to October 9 in Gelendzhik. The opening night will feature Bakur Bakuradze’s biopic “Lermontov.” Richard Linklater’s “New Wave” will also be screened at Mayak.
