“I would say we took an old school approach, one of making a game and delivering it to players without thinking about microtransactions, Season Passes and the like., assures Piotr Nowakowsk. It was easier for us to develop the game with this mindset; release a game, period. This is called the old school approach. We realize that most games today don’t work that way, but we are convinced that this is what gamers want.“
Before adding: “Of course, we won’t stop adding content, but not with a view to offering microtransactions or Season Passes. We’ll only do this if players want to explore more of the Outriders universe. […] Our state of mind is very different.“
For the record, Outriders was due out last month before being postponed for several months. It is expected on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, PC and PC.
