No Man’s Sky Fractal Update – version 4.13

From developers:

Hey everyone! We wanted to give a big thanks to all of you who have been playing the Fractal Update. We appreciate your time and effort in reporting any issues you encounter via Zendesk or console crash reporting. We’ve been listening closely to your feedback, and we’re happy to announce that we’ve identified and resolved a number of issues in patch 4.13, which is now live on Steam.

Here are the issues that we’ve fixed:

  • We fixed a bug that was causing incorrect option settings to be saved for currently non-applicable options.
  • We also fixed an issue that was causing some options to appear in non-relevant configurations, where they had no functional effect.
  • We fixed a number of issues that were causing text and other UI elements to be cropped or appear incorrectly on various screens.
  • We added an extra level of control to the Hold-to-Confirm option setting, which now allows players to disable hold-to-confirm for most interactions but keep it for destructive actions.
  • We fixed a bunch of issues related to VR controls and UI screens, including issues with rendering, positioning, and sound.
  • We also fixed a bunch of crashes that were happening when loading saves with complex bases, discovering plants or minerals, syncing bases in multiplayer, and more.

We hope these fixes make your gameplay experience smoother and more enjoyable. Thanks again for your feedback and support!

We will continue to release patches as issues are identified and resolved. If you experience any issues, let us know by submitting a bug report.
