Nintendo will hold a new Nintendo Direct presentation at E3 2021 on June 15, where the company plans to reveal new details on upcoming Nintendo Switch games. Nintendo will then offer a longer look at its Switch lineup in a new Nintendo Treehouse Live immediately following the Direct livestream.
Nintendo’s E3 2021 Nintendo Direct will air at 12 p.m. EDT/9 a.m. PDT on Tuesday, June 15, the company announced Wednesday. The presentation will run “roughly 40 minutes” and focus on Nintendo Switch software “mostly releasing in 2021.”
The Treehouse Live post-show will run approximately three hours. Nintendo promises “deep dives into select games” with live gameplay.
Nintendo’s currently confirmed lineup for Nintendo Switch includes Mario Golf: Super Rush, Project Triangle Strategy, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, Splatoon 3, Metroid Prime 4, and a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Just prior to E3 2021, Nintendo will release Game Builder Garage, a new do-it-yourself game-making toolkit.
E3 2021 runs June 12-15. This year’s show will be completely virtual, and it will include appearances from Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Xseed Games, Gearbox Entertainment, and Koch Media.
