More than three months after its reveal accompanied by some screenshots, Marsupilami: The Secret of the Sarcophagus finally deigns to show its very first trailer. And it is clear that Microïds did things quite well, since for almost 2 minutes, we have a summary of the gameplay that awaits us in this platform game. And in the space of a few seconds, we realize that the developers of Ocellus Studio have drawn their inspiration from the best. Sonic, Mario, Donkey Kong and even Ori, there are indeed features specific to these titles and which have been revisited to stick to the universe of the most famous of marsupials. Thanks to its long tail (no evil spirit please), our animal can jump very high, cling to walls and elements, hit enemies, but also run at high speed. On the graphics side, the 2.5D option was chosen and the result is quite nice, with a very colorful universe, specific to that of comics, especially since we should see the landscape thanks to various environments.
The release of Marsupilami The Secret of the Sarcophagus is expected on November 16, 2021 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
