Ikora, Zavala and even Ghaul star in new Destiny 2 character intros

Destiny 2 goes massive on story. Get to know your guides.

The Destiny 2 character introduction video collection continued over the weekend with three extra episodes. Following on from the Cayde-6 and Hawthorne spots, we’re now being launched to the 2 remaining members of the Vanguard in addition to the massive dangerous villain.

First up is Ikora Rey, the badass Warlock Vanguard. Leader of the Hidden, Ikora is a considerate, reserved chief with a dry however heat sense of humour, and like all Warlocks, her connection to the Traveler and the Light runs deep and true. For all her measured phrases and scholarly achievements, although, she can also be infamous for completely rocking the Crucible earlier in her profession. Cayde-6 is a little bit bit in awe of her, you may inform. You’ll discover her on Io, a moon of Jupiter, in Destiny 2.

Commander Zavala is the chief of the Vanguard in addition to their Titan consultant. An authoritative Awoken, he’s the one who instructions Guardians and directs their actions in defence of humanity – so he’s the one most devastated by the loss the Tower, the Last City and seemingly his life’s work. Early in Destiny 2’s story, he retreats to Titan, a moon of Saturn, in an try and reorganise and resist the Red Legion. Hopefully his favorite Guardian will help him out?

Newcomer Ghaul is just not a Guardian, nor any of the Guardian races. He’s a Cabal, chief of the diehard Red Legion, and intent on securing the Traveller’s Light for himself instead of unworthy Earthlings. He’s not a very nice bloke, from our perspective, and should you performed the Destiny 2 beta chances are you’ll already maintain him in some dislike. We’ll virtually definitely give him a paddling in direction of the top of Destiny 2, although, in order that’ll be good.

Destiny 2 releases next week for PS4 and Console, and goes into beta on PC today forward of October launch.

We completely can’t wait to get again to taking pictures house faces in Destiny 2. Pew pew pew!
