Released in the summer of 2020 in the most complete anonymity, Hyper Space continues to enrich its content through numerous updates. Ubisoft let us know that Season 3, titled “Shadow Rising” will be released on March 11, 2021, for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. Among the big news expected, there is a question of a total overhaul of the Neo Arcadia map, but also the presence of a new hack, additional memory shards, an unprecedented 100-level Combat Pass and finally plenty of cosmetic bonuses. Ubisoft takes the opportunity to reveal other adjustments that we copy and paste to you just below:

NEW GAMEPLAY CONTENT IN SEASON 3

During this new season, players will have the opportunity to test their speed and skill as they navigate a 2.0 version of the Neo Arcadia map. They will also be able to try a new hack, Firewall, which will generate a barrier and allow them to block incoming fire while still allowing their squad to shoot through, at enemies.

This season will also introduce major new points of interest, a more diverse playing field, and more easily identifiable districts for players. Neo Arcadia Map 2.0 will challenge die-hard gamers to keep pace with newcomers, who will experience the game for the first time.

NEW FEATURES IN SEASON 3

Season 3 will also introduce a new 2D hub in the main menu which will be optimized to provide a faster and more interactive gaming experience for players. This new hub will allow them in particular to have a global vision of their squad, to learn about the outfits they will have selected, to use the inventory and the shop, while waiting for the matchmaking to take place. Less waiting between each match and more chances of winning the crown!

During Season 3, Hyper Scape will be restructured to offer three game modes that will always be available at all times:

Squad Crown Rush – 60 players, ranked
Single Player Crown Rush – 60 players, unranked
6v6 team deathmatch, unranked

SEASON 3 COMBAT PASS

Hyper Scape Season 3 will include a Battle Pass available in free and premium version that will offer 100 tiers of exclusive cosmetic items to unlock during the season.

The Premium Battle Pass, available for 950 Bitcrowns, will instantly unlock the Ace Shrine Fox outfit, a weapon charm, and a legendary skin for the Dragonfly weapon.

The Hyper Combat Pass will be available for 2,250 Bitcrowns and instantly unlock 25 tiers of cosmetic items, including the Divided Rook Outfit.

The Season 3 Premium Battle Pass will include exclusive cosmetic items such as 2 legendary outfits, 8 other outfits, 33 weapon skins, 13 melee weapons, 8 deployment mods, and more. Season 3 will also introduce a new category of customization, pendants, which players can hang on their weapons.

Players will earn Bitcrowns by playing the game or purchasing Bitcrowns packs with real currency from the Ubisoft store or participating stores. It will also be possible to advance your Battle Pass by watching Hyper Scape streams on Twitch with the Crowncast extension enabled.

Season 3 will also introduce two starter packs to help new players get started in the game:

The Prisma Security Pack will include an Epic Outfit, Emote and 1000 Bitcrowns

Season 3 Starter Pack will include Epic Outfit, Weapon, Deployment Mod and 2,875 Bitcrowns

Finally, PS + subscribers will receive the new Season 3 Remedy Pack for free. This will include an exclusive rare outfit as well as a weapon skin for Noor.

THE STORY OF SEASON 3: A DARK TEMPLE APPEARS IN THE HYPER SCAPE

Prisma Dimensions ensures that the situation is under control but strange anomalies continue to burst through Neo Arcadia. The mysterious floating structures that appeared after Blackout have merged to create a temple that floats above the city. Basilisk is the first champion to find a way to get in there.

Once inside, he encounters a primitive force from the Hyper Scape: Tower. Tower confides in him that he has lost pieces of himself and instructs him to recover them, in exchange for which he will offer him power and glory. Basilisk then recruits a new teammate, Huo Shu, a mischievous hacker, and sets out to attack Prisma’s HQ and recover one of these fragments. Meanwhile, Prisma’s forces, under the command of Nikita and Bai Hu, her new henchman, are preparing to eradicate these anomalies by any means possible …

Each week, players will be able to collect new Memory Shards to delve deeper into the story of Season 3. Additionally, the story of Basilisk and Tower will be featured in issue 3 of the Hyper comic book. Scape and will be released as chapters during Season 3.
