Here’s our first good have a look at the Phantom Dust remaster

Phantom Dust, the previously-obscure 2004 Xbox motion technique recreation, is making a comeback.

This video involves us from Polygon, and so they have a written preview to go together with it.

The recreation now runs at 1080p (or 4K on PC), however inventive director Adam Isgreen is reticent to name it a remaster – “it’s more of re-release of the original with a lot of improvements”. It seems similar to the unique recreation, however a lot sharper.

The recreation has taken an odd path to launch after the series reboot was cancelled. The group needed to rebuild the sport with out the supply code, which meant “reverse-engineering the binaries, and actually hacking and cracking the code back open again.”

Back in January Phil Spencer mentioned that Phantom Dust was more likely to ship before E3. An actual date has not been nailed down as of but, although.
