If we had to remember an Indie World game that ended about thirty minutes ago, it would be Gunbrella, the new nugget from the creators of Gato Roboto (Doinksoft). According to what we are told, the player will have to embody a lumberjack in search of revenge. Equipped with his Gunbrella, he will be able to hover, propel himself in the air, dive, and of course, fight, all this in a universe sculpted in 2D and where natural resources are beginning to run out. As expected, there will be ways to improve the Gunbrella’s abilities, knowing that we are also being told about investigations to be carried out to give a hand to different characters.
Our woodcutter will naturally have to cross different levels – we are told in particular of a city where a sect reigns, or even of a fortress built on a dump. The developers also promise us “sinister twists” without saying too much on the subject. Presented as a noir-punk action-adventure game, Gunbrella is expected for 2023 on Nintendo Switch and PC. No doubt it will have the opportunity to show itself again by then.
