GTA: Trilogy: Who Are Groove Street Games?

Groove Street Games created more than just Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition, but had a hand in re-editions of other parts of the GTA. We tell a short story of this company.

Initially, when Rockstar Games announced the reissue of the GTA Trilogy compilation, fans suggested that it was being developed. recently purchased Rockstar Dundee… Later it turned out that the guys from Groove Street Games were working on the game.

Rockstar Games contractors have long been involved in creating and porting games to Android, iOS and Windows Phone mobile platforms. Groove Street Games was formerly called War Drum Studios and released anniversary editions GTA III, GTA: VC, GTA: SA, GTA: CW, Bully and Max Payne. They also own games like ARK: Survival Evolved and Auralux: Constellations.

However, their last transfer of GTA: San Andreas to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and mobile platforms hit the reputation of War Drum Studios – numerous bugs, crashes, relatively high-quality textures and other flaws for which GTA fans hate this port. We recommend watching a detailed review from Vadim M, in which he smashes the disgusting reprint to smithereens:

Almost a year ago, the company changed its name to Groove Street Games… Presumably, they took this step to wash away the shame of the unsuccessful re-release of GTA: San Andreas, and become one of the contractors for Rockstar Games.
