GTA 6’s Budget and Advertising Campaign Rumors
On the topic GTA 6 Users are now discussing two rumors. Let’s see how true they can be.
For several days now, on various resources and accounts, you can find information about what the budget of the “six” is. It is claimed that it will be the most expensive game in history, and it will cost 1-2 billion US dollars. If it is difficult to argue with the first part of the statement (GTA 5 once earned this status), the numbers raise questions. Chief among them: where did they come from? This assertion was originally made by news resource Dexerto Gamingwho nevertheless did not provide a source. The development and advertising costs of the “five” cost the company 266 million. It is logical that the sixth part will cost more, but to immediately 4-8 times? Very doubtful. For comparison: the entire turnover of Take-Two Interactive, the copyright holder, is estimated at about 3 billion with a little.
Another reason to fray is interconnected with the first, because it’s about marketing. It is reported that a letter allegedly written by a Take-2 representative to the management of The Guild Downtown hotel in Miami got into the Network. It asks for permission to use an ad space “clearly visible from Biscayne Boulevard” (coordinates) to “promote the AAA game” for a year starting late summer.
Users have already found a person who could be the author of the letter – Paul Svidersky (Paul Swiderski), director of marketing at Take-Two. However, all this may well be a forgery. Or did the company really decide to start an advertising campaign right after the first full-fledged announcement?..
