Grand Theft Auto: New Christmas Leak

For the second consecutive year, files that won’t exactly please Rockstar Games have surfaced online during Christmas. In 2023, it was the source code of GTA 5, which required further analysis (part 2, part 3). This year is no different, as over 100 pages of internal developer documents related to various parts of the Grand Theft Auto series have been made public:

• the GTA: Online project from 2001, a multiplayer mode for GTA 3;
• ideas concerning girlfriends in GTA: San Andreas, including those who didn’t make it into the final version of the game;
• financial details and technical specifications of GTA: Advance;
• a detailed description of the nuances (missions, maps, etc.) of GTA: Vice City Stories.

This documentation was in possession of a small group of people for a long time, but it was decided to release it to the public due to a conflict between those who were selling and buying it. We all became beneficiaries.
