Friday the 13th patch deployed then instantly rolled again

It’s honest to say that Kickstarted horror/survival recreation Friday the 13th has had a rocky week since its launch on May 26. After a number of days of server bother, the devs have now needed to roll again a patch they issued simply this morning.

For extra bounce scares, try the best horror games on PC.

The patch needed to be pulled simply an hour after it was utilized on Steam, “due to an issue with lost perks,” based on the sport’s Twitter feed.

The announcement on Steam explains “we are getting substantial reports on perks being lost by people. This is in no way good, so we’re taking this patch offline right now until we mend that up.” Devs IllFonic apologise, and say “no testing brought this up.”

That’s fascinating, as a result of no sooner had they downloaded the patch, PC gamers reported shedding expertise, perks, and unlocks – basically, the sport was failing to trace their progress.

In equity, the sport’s points since launch have been partially caused by a surge of players sending a flood of telemetry information, so it is not a horrible drawback to have. Fingers crossed IllFonic can kind it and roll out a working patch earlier than they lose the curiosity of their pleasantly massive viewers.
