Although gamescom is less and less prestigious, Microsoft has kicked off this summer event, which will allow people to learn more about certain games. Among these, we retain Forza Horizon 5 which continues to drop bits of information every time it shines. Through an online conference, we were able to attend a 9-minute gameplay demo, preceded by a little speech from the developers of Playground Games who recall with some pleasure that Mexico is a country where we meets all kinds of scenery. And it is true that in 9 minutes of play, we will go from sandstorm to wet jungle in no time. Dirt track, asphalt road and muddy road, again, driving will differ depending on the surface and it is better to have the right vehicle to get by. Likewise, we saw a 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands, the 2020 Corvette Stingray and the famous Porsche 911 Desert Flyer show off their beautiful bodywork.
As usual, it will be possible to follow the marked path or of course, think outside the box for a little more spice, knowing that Forza Horizon 5 will offer the biggest map of the franchise ever. On the graphics side, the game displays a magnificent rendering and it will also benefit from Ray-Tracing technology, but not everywhere. This will be the case on the bodywork of racing cars, on the trophies that one can contemplate in his house, and around the site of the Horizon Festival. Finally, we will end with an interesting detail: the title will offer a new difficulty mode called “Tourist”, created for theexploration and will thus include options and assistance adapted to the discovery of places to visit.
Forza Horizon 5 is slated for release on November 9, 2021 on PC, Xbox Series X | S, and Xbox One.
