Fortnite has made it official: classic weapons and items are returning in the upcoming ‘Reload’ mode, which debuts tomorrow.
From Fortnite’s official YouTube thumbnail for the Reload premiere, the following weapons are confirmed to return with tomorrow’s update:
- Classic Assault Rifle
- Classic Pump Shotgun
- Submachine Gun
- Pistol
While Chapter 5 introduced notable adjustments to weapon mechanics, rest assured, these returning classics will adhere to their original versions. Expect original stats, classic weapon behavior, and no modifications.
‘Reload’ promises to be the most substantial mid-season update Fortnite has ever released, blending the nostalgic charm of OG with a mini Battle Royale twist. The special map will reintroduce iconic locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row, with exciting new remixes such as Lil’ Loot Lake and Sandy Sheets.
