The Chapter 5 Season 3 live event of Fortnite has finally taken place, resulting in the destruction of the ‘Redline Rig’ point of interest (POI) and hinting at the comeback of Doctor Doom.

This sequence marks the third ‘mini’ live event of Chapter 5, adhering to the tradition of previous Seasons with one event preceding the launch of the next. The climax of Season 3 featured the character Megalo Don utilizing Nitro to trigger an explosion at Redline Rig, which in turn unveiled Pandora’s Box buried beneath the sand. This enigmatic box was a significant element in the Season 2 narrative and was initially hinted at during the Valeria storyline in Season 1. It’s expected to play a pivotal role in Season 4 as well—similar to the Marvel character, Doctor Doom. Doom made a brief appearance as a holographic projection directly above the Nitro reactor.
The aftermath of the event leaves the core structure of Redline Rig intact, now featuring a blazing Pandora’s Box outside.
