Since its launch, designer NetherRealm Studios has actually launched extra personalities, like Invincible’s Omni-Man, while teasing other new fighters like Quan Chi and DC’s Peacemaker. Now, Mortal Kombat designer Ed Boon has actually teased a lot more brand-new web content en route.

During the current CCXP23 occasion in Brazil, Boon disclosed that tale DLC is coming, as reported by IGN.

“Just like we did with [Mortal Kombat 11], we’re going to release a second part with more story and we have a big surprise after that,” Boon informed the group at CCXP23.

Mentioning Mortal Kombat 11, it’s most likely that Boon was describing its Aftermath DLC, that included a brand new tale and even more. After this tale DLC launch for Mortal Kombat 1, it seems like gamers can anticipate a lot more in the kind of a “big surprise.” Unfortunately, Boon cut short of sharing even more concerning this shock.

This extra web content talks with the workshop’s approach around sustaining Mortal Kombat 1 post-launch. Boon stated throughout CCXP23 that, “[We’re] going to be supporting the game for even longer than we did with Mortal Kombat 11,” including that, “It’s going to be fun.”
