Bohemia Interactive will probably be altering everybody’s copy of DayZ to adjust to Australian rules.
DayZ discovered itself in sizzling water this week. While making an attempt to approve a bodily model for launch in Australia, Bohemia shortly discovered each the bodily and current digital model of the zombie sandbox to be banned. Not fairly what the developer was anticipating, actually.
Why now? It appears the Australian Classification Board missed a trick when it rated the digital version again within the day. While Bohemia hasn’t confirmed what adjustments must be made, the Board has. Murder all of the zombies and survivors you want, simply don’t smoke a spliff when you’re doing so (through Kotaku Australia).
Yep. Turns out, DayZ allow you to patch up wounds by selecting a gnarly-looking joint off the bottom and getting lit.
Or a minimum of, Bohemia wished you to. It seems the addition doesn’t even actually work in-game proper now. DayZ’s been kicked out of Australia for a characteristic that doesn’t work. Buying from the shifty lad down the steps once more, have we?
Also how fucking basic DayZ is it that they’ve applied weed that no person was asking for earlier than really ending the remainder of the game

Rather than create a bespoke version for down-under DayZ followers, Bohemia will as a substitute replace everybody’s copy to take away the offending gadgets. It’s in all probability essentially the most wise possibility.
Hastily put-together Aussie builds of games that take away blood, violence and different obscenities will be notoriously janky.
“We don’t want to separate Australian players from the rest of the world, since many people play cross-region,” Bohemia informed Kotaku earlier right this moment. “We love that DayZ is the place to meet with friends and experience the game without dramatic regional lag.”
Maybe keep on with the CBD options subsequent time, Bohemia.
