Contract with Zelnik extended
Ben videotech_ discovered a document that states that Strauss Zelnick will remain in office for the coming years.
According to reportan experienced manager (behind senior positions at BMG Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Columbia Pictures and CBS) remains the head of Take-Two for at least another seven years – until March 31, 2029.
Under Mr. Zelnik, T2’s business went uphill, and the company became financially successful, but it is under his leadership that the copyright holder makes, to put it mildly, unpopular decisions among the fan community, such as hunting for modders, introducing a paid subscription, etc. Most likely, Strauss’s retirement should be expected only after the end of the new agreement, when the CEO will be 71 years old (now 64!).
