It’s been several months now that we know that the amiibo line will benefit from newcomers like Terry Bogard (Fatal Fury), Banjo & Kazooie and Byleth (Fire Emblem: Three Houses), but their release date was still unclear. Nintendo has just revealed, through a tweet, that it will be necessary to wait until March 26, 2021 before being able to recover them. A revelation that comes after it was learned that Sephiroth will be joining the Super Smash Bros. roster. Ultimate during the Game Awards 2020. We remind you that in the meantime, two other amiibo will be released on February 12, 2021: they will be CatMario and CatPeach.
