Xbox Live Gold Coming to Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft decided to keep up from competitors, and is going to introduce changes to the structure of its own subscriptions. Xbox Live Gold, which gives you access to multiplayer and additional sales, will be converted to a new Xbox Game Pass plan called Core.

The changes will take effect September 1. The price will remain the same – $10 per month or $60 per year. Everyone with an active Gold subscription will be automatically upgraded to the new plan. In addition to the original perks, a catalog of 25 games will be added, which will expand in the future. Previously received video games through Xbox Live Gold will remain with the players.
