Nordic Horizons Screenshots: Norway, Sweden and Finland

In March 2024, SCS Software shared an early set of Nordic Horizons screenshots and asked readers to identify the locations from the scenery. The images covered roads in northern Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The studio did not label every individual viewpoint, so the screenshots should not be assigned to specific towns without further confirmation.

Regions shown in the original preview

The Norwegian section stretches from the fjords toward the Arctic Ocean. In Sweden, the expansion reaches across Norrland and areas near the Scandinavian Mountains. The Finnish scenes represent Lapland. Those are the regions named by SCS Software in the original post, while the exact screenshot locations were left as a guessing exercise.

The expansion after release

Nordic Horizons launched on November 27, 2025. Its Steam page lists 40 accessible cities, 30 smaller settlements, and more than 200 depots and industries for delivery jobs. The map extends Euro Truck Simulator 2 routes through northern Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The base game is required.
