Travis Scott has said that all 2021 Astroworld Festival tickets will be refunded following this weekend’s massive and fatal crowd surge incident, according to Variety. He’s also dropped out of a scheduled headlining performance at Day N Vegas Festival this Saturday (November 12), with sources telling Variety that Scott is “too distraught to play.”

Pitchfork has reached out to representatives for Travis Scott and Day N Vegas Festival for comment and additional information.

Eight people died, dozens more were injured, and several people suffered cardiac arrest during Travis Scott’s headlining set at Astroworld on Friday night (November 5). Scott has since been criticized for the festival’s safety procedures and for not stopping his performance. One injured fan has already filed a lawsuit against Scott, Live Nation, Score More, and other Astroworld affiliates, including Scott’s Cactus Jack Records. Another suit, filed in Texas by a lawyer offering to represent all families affected by the Astroworld fallout, is seeking damages from Scott, Live Nation, NRG Stadium, and Drake, who’d joined Scott on stage. In a statement posted to Instagram on Saturday, Scott said he was “absolutely devastated” and said that he was cooperating with local police investigations.
