Thom Yorke has composed the rating for the upcoming horror movie remake Suspiria. Following a teaser issued in June, a full-length trailer has now been launched, that includes some music from Yorke. Watch it under.
The Suspiria soundtrack marks the primary time the Radiohead frontman has ever accomplished music for a characteristic movie. In a latest interview with BBC Music 6, Yorke mentioned that the expertise was “absolutely terrifying,” revealing that he “watched Blade Runner twice” over a weekend to search for inspiration. “Normally [scoring] a horror movie involves orchestras, these specific things,” he mentioned. “But Luca [Guadagnino], the director, and Walter [Fasano], the editor, are very much, like, find your own path with it. … I just have to find a way into it.”
